August 3rd, 2009 01:38 PM #1Good day. Need help sa auto ko. Owner type jeep with 4k engine. Please help... Thanks

b52stealth,
how is your spark delivery? it should be bluish white from the spark plug end of the hi tension wire and capable of jumping at least 1/4 inch towards ground or engine block. if the spark is somewhat orange, the voltage is too low from the ignition coil, and the possible culprits would be your condenser, breaker point set not of proper gap and dwell, ignition coil going south, or the voltage to the coil's T15 or positive terminal is low. also, check the distributor cap for carbon tracking/cracks, check your distrubutor rotor for carbon tracking or pinholes too. by the way, neither b52 stratofortress nor is f/fa 18 hornet is stealth.

August 6th, 2009 11:56 AM #4Please check the carb solenoid if it ticks, possible na carb, kung barado, possible din na spark kung carbon fouled or oil fouled.
