What is the average number of kilometers being run by our vehicles running daily in the city here in the Philippines?

I suppose it kind of varies greatly depending on which part of the Philippines we are talking about, and whether the vehicle only runs around the metro, or goes out of town regularly.

On a regular week,- I am doing about 280Km, so about 40Km a day....

SWAG- Now assuming my number is the average, and there are about 4M vehicles + 8M motorbikes plying our Metro streets daily,- then we are talking about 480MKm of (shared) road a day....

I did 19,404 in 16 months. (94,430kms to 113,834km)

0kms to 94,430kms in 57 months.

About 52kms per day average in 6 years give or take.

Not counting the days i used the family car. Maybe 60 days out of the 6 years.

that's 27-32 km a day, 365 days a week.

It’s going to be a rather wide bell curve. Zoning is a mess in Metro Manila so commute distance varies wildly from person to person.

for the past 10 years I have been doing 8000 to 9000 kms per year.. that's including trips to Laguna/Batangas/Tagaytay sometimes to Baguio.

But for daily city driving I only do Mandaluyong to Makati and back, around 300 to 350 kms per month.. with weekend trips to the mall..

For that one vehicle we "assign" as the hauler long distance vehicle for family trips, the max we ever did within 1 year was 15000kms
