May napansin akong tagas ng langis sa gilid ng head gasket. Pag tinanggal ko ang oil cap, may pressure at tumatalsik din ang langis? Candidate na ba for overhaul oto ko? Top lang or engine overhaul na?

Can you recommend reliable shops or mechanics? Ano usual presyo?

Same tayo ng problem before sa corolla ko, sabi ng mechanic ko top everhaul lang daw then asinta valve after ilang months hayun overhaul na buo, doble gastos lang ako, wag mo na tipirin bro. pa overhaul mo na buo

make sure na sa head gasket nga ang tagas.. baka naman sa valve cover lang?? also its not because na may tumatalsik na langis when you open the oil cap eh for overhaul na agad.. even brandnew engines when you open the oil cap may tatalsik talaga na langis and mapapansin mo may pressure din...

sa manual nakasulat "do not open the oil cap while the engine is running" you know why?? kasi tatalsik yung oil...

OT: nung dumating yung brand new kia carens dito sa bahay sa sobrang excited ko nabuksan ko yung oil cap while the engine is running.. (nalimutan ko bawal nga pala) ayun tumalsik yung langis

you might want to bring it to a couple of mechanics before you come to any conclusion about the engine.

Di pala head gasket kundi valve cover lang. Saan ba pwede magpacompression test at estimate na din. magkano ba labor rates ng top overhaul? for the overhaul kits and materials, ano ba ang mga magandang brands aside from orig toyota? thanks!

most talyers can do a compression test.

labor rates will vary depending on where you have it done.

for overhauling kits, the oem toyota kit is the best and if budget allows then use that.

3-4 days, depending on machining.

I have decided to have my car overhauled. Naibaba na, its still generally OK. No major scratches or cracks but it needed to be rebored, resleeved and pistons replaced. Maalog na kasi pistons e. Sa Sat ko kukunin.

Sa may short horn, daanan ng jeep papuntang proj 8 galing munoz. Lhegacy Auto Parts Center. 929 2694 Look for Nelson, sya yung kausap ko dun. Tell him Bien referred you. Ok naman silang kausap. Looks like OK din ang gawa pero di ko pa masasabi talaga. Need to break in the engine.

overhaul na talaga yan ... kung nagoverheat ka .... kailangan pa machine shop pa yung head mo ....

pag binuksan yung makina mo bago malalaman kung kailangan top overhaul or complete overhaul .... usually determined kung gumagalaw na yung pistons mo ....

pero corolla naman madali lang naman gawin .... if top overhaul yan usually 1 day lang if with machine shop mga 2-3 days depends on the machine shop

Overhaul went considerably well but I wont recommend them. They broke the connector to my MAP sensor at tinapalan lang ng epoxy. kaya pala palyado. i was the one who found out about it pa after driving the car for a day and noticing the increased fuel consumption.

Don't have your engine done by this shop. Bad service.

Bro may power pa ba yung engine mo or mahina na talaga? Oil pressure mo gaanu kataas? I have a pickup truck na Nissan Power pick up BD25..Sabi ng mechanic ko...subject for general Overhauling na daw 2years ago.
