Need your opinion po sa Innova namin... Twice na po kami nag palit ng Gas tank sa loob lang ng 2 years... Lagi po nag kaka leak... Resently lang po nag palit ulet kami ng Gas tank then after a week may dent na ulet yung gas tank... 100% sure po ako na hindi po siya na lubak or gumas gas sa Humps... ano kaya problem nun...
BTW sabi ng toyota hindi daw cover ng Waranty since may Dent daw...
Any Idea kung bket kaya ganun?

December 11th, 2008 12:01 AM #5hmm.. first time ko naka encounter ng tank leak sa innova, usually altis at camry may ganitong problem, pag nagfull tank ka nag leak na siya. maybe sa casa hindi pinalitan yung tank mo nung nagpa service ka. did you visually check the tank each time after they replaced it ?

December 11th, 2008 10:18 AM #7100% sure po ako na pinalitan coz nakita ko po yung lumang tank... and binalik ko din po kasi yung Innova kasi po hindi gumagana yung Guage so binaba ulet yung tank then nakita ko po yung Toyota Sticker sa Ibabaw ng Tank... So ok naman po bnew naman po yung tank...
I doubt po kung debris po yun kasi po horizontal yung dent parang isang line...
1st time nagka leak yung innova I notice na walang rubber yung strap niya(where the leak is) nung pinalitan nilagyan ng Toyota ng Rubber strap pero dun pa rin yung leak... Yung Dent po na Horizontal ngayon nasa gitna ng dalawang strap malayo po dun sa leak..

December 11th, 2008 12:50 PM #9Hmmm...unusual nga yan. Mine is already past 3 years na pero stiill free of any dents of sorts (madumi nga lang ung ilalim, he he he). Pinalitan lang ng casa noon yung tank straps as part of their recall kasi yung initial stock straps didn't pass through standards. As one poster said baka nga sinasabotahe yung ride mo. Try to investigate further. Meantime, it is safe not to use it until the casa had completely changed it. Good luck.

Yung parking po private po naman May garahe naman kami sa loob... Every time we bring it to Toyota Lagi sinasabi sumabit daw kasi may dent so replace under insurance hindi under waranty... Mahirap makipag argue eh...

December 14th, 2008 12:33 AM #13it seems someone at the casa is up to no good, based on the pics yung mga nasa background like yung muffler etc wala namang signs ng damage,if you hit something underneath at least someof your underchassis parts would shows signs of damage.maybe the "new" tank they supposedly replaced already had a dent on it.saang casa ka nagpa replace if you dont mind? kahit pm mo nalang.

Can i ask for a Warranty for the new fuel tank that they will install? Kasi yung fuel tank namin ngayon less than 4 months pa lang... kainis talaga... 3K nanaman toh

If you're gonna pay for the new tank, I think you should consider aftermarket fuel tanks instead of the crappy oem. Maraming maganda na gawang pinoy mas matibay pa sa gawang thailand.

I maybe wrong, but it looks like the dent came from the tank being bent. Just like if you bend a rain gutter, it may be improperly installed and is flexing together with the rest of the chassis.
