Difference between steel & plastic fuel filters

Kung both filters po ay pupwedeng ikabit sa car ko, which one should I choose and why? Anu pong advantages and disadvantages of both type of filters? Any brand na mas ok?

The steel filters are usually on EFI cars whilest the plastic ones are used for carbed vehicles (different fuel pressures?).

materials ang difference pero mas superior ang filtering ng metal case filters. cheaper yung plastic (white) saka makikita mo kung madumi yung loob unlike sa metal. sa diesel mas ok yung filter with metal casing although may mga nakikita ako na primary fuel filter nila yung metal tapos secondary nila is yung plastic.

Lahat ng filters may kinalaman sa fuel consumption IMO. Nung nagpalit ako air AND fuel filters tumaas ang mileage. Kahit ihataw di pa rin bumababa to the same level nung lumang filters pa gamit ko.

Orig pag steel sabi sakin. Sa carb namin replacement a bnew syempre.

kapag barado ang fuel filter, especially plastic type. ang effect sinisinok ang sasakyan. pagdating sa 3rd gear pataas lalo.. i mean hindi ka makaarangkada. it happens sa amin yan ng pauwi kami sa manila galing pangasinan

parang 40k yata pwede pa din maski di mo palitan ang filter na steel. yung sakin 48k na tinatakbo since magpalit ng fuel filter until now ok pa din sya. Pero syempre depende din yan kung may dumi sa tank or sa fuel lines mas mabilis kang magpapalit ng filter.

minsan i had this problem na namamatayan ako ng engine during cold start sa umaga. kung anu-ano na pinaggagawa ng mechanic ko, hindi parin ma-solved. pinalitan ko lang ng fuel filter, solved kaagad!

guys, if you were to choose wherein either metal or plastic filter may be used in your car, which one would you choose?
