Ask lang po kasi 2 weeks lang when i put coolant sa car ko naubos agad. My problema kaya? i am using prestone pre mixed collant. Thank you very much

Check for leaks. Around the water pump.

Also check with the radiator cap it still seals properly. Replace the cap when rubber seal looks cracked or warped.

I'm trying to check po sa leaks parang wala naman kasi my natira pang coolant below minimum na po. Tight naman po ang radiator cap. Hindi naman po frequently use ang car eh. Thank you very much.

Regarding the radiator cap... tight or not, check the condition of the rubber seal.

Is the overflow bottle in one piece (no leaks?)

Have someone check the water pump for tell-tale signs of leaks.

[SIZE=3]Sa mismong radiator ba or sa reservoir/overflow bottle mo inilalagay yung coolant? Anyway, gaya ng sabi nila, check for any leaks around the radiator, reservoir, hoses (especially on the parts where the clamps are applied, rad cap, drain plug, and water pump. It's easy to detect kasi kulay yellow or green ang coolant.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Normally, nagkukulang talaga ang water level sa reservoir/overflow bottle, about a half for every week or two or more, depending on the kind of driving. Mid day traffics will amplify water loss. The important thing is your car doesn't overheat.[/SIZE]

Hindi pa naman nagoverheat car ko (sana huwag naman). Never din sa middle temperature. I will check yung mag leaks. Nagtataka talaga ako. hindi ko naman masyadong ginagamit ang car because of high oil price. Thanks

check din pag mainit na yung weep hole ng water pump . baka nag leak na ang water pump at ito ang cause ng pagbabawas minsan na neneglect makita ito

Hello po. Just to update... I drove my car this morning going to office that's 30 km away. From rough to cemented road medium driving. After arrive in the office i checked the coolant reservoir almost an inch nabawas sa coolant ko. Is that ok? Parang wala namang leaks. Will try to check thoroughly this weekend. Any opinion? Thanks a lot.

no leaks sa water side? try running your engine while your rad cap is open. observe for bubbles... if there is presence of bubbles you have a leak in your cylinder head gasket which causes the water to overflow when your engine is runnning. water escapes the overflow provision in your coolant reservoir... not saying this is it but it's worth looking at.

try nyo check you mga tubings. baka medyo maluwag na at medyo nag li leak na yung coolant mo while the engine is running. this has actually happened to me. what i did is i put teflon on all ends of the tubings to tighten it. ayun ok na.
