Checking from our catalogue, Honda engines doesn't have idler bearing. The timing belt uses belt tensioners to keep it tight and right on time.
Usually pinapalitan ang idler pulley or belt tensioner kasabay ng timing belt. And timing belt naman ang nagcocontrol ng cam shafts kung kailan bubukas at sasara ang valves para pumasok ang gas at hangin (intake valve) o para lumabas ang usok (exhaust valve).
just in case you do change the bearing of the AC pulley. it would last longer if you add more bearing grease into the bearing. all you have to do is pop out the side of the bearing and stuff it with grease. usually those bearing hardly have any grease. don't buy the bearing with the metal sides. these are not heavy duty. buy the ones that have plastic or ruberrized sides. you'll notice that they are more expensive but they will withstand more punishment.
Just to add to mintoy's post, buy it with C3 suffix designation. Sample, 6203-2RS1/C3. This has enough ball bearing gap for high speed bearing use. Do not be surprised if you happen to open it straight out of the box with little play or movement. Ganyan po talaga ang bearing na may C3, mas gaganda at tatagal ang buhay ng bearing.

Bahagyang-nahagya ang gap po nito Malaki na ang 1-2mm gaps. The size was meant to run with high speed industrial machines. Since high speed din naman po ang idler bearings that runs with your engine, mas magandang application po yan. Meron mas malaki pang gap 3-5mm with C2 designation, kaso minimal ang force application nito, hindi pwede sa idler stress.
Mas mura ang one sided seal; pag 1 side metal usually 6203-Z or 6203-Z/C3. Pag single side rubberized seal 6203-RS1 or 6203-RS1/C3.
hi ungas, thats a good info about the c3. is that code standard to all brands of bearings. or only a few. can you mention some brands that carrt the c3 (eg. toyo, nsk, ntn...ect)
Done changing it. Learned another thing too ... i need to loosen the nut holding the pulley before i could adjust the tension bolt. Btw, the replacement bearing used by the case was also a -C3 ... not bad, it lasted 3 years.
pahabol pala ... When you have alreaby inserted the bearing in the pulley, which side faces the engine block? the side where the bearing was inserted of the other side?
