    good day masters, i have a 4k engine on my owner type jeep and i've noticed na hindi bumubukas yung isang venturi ng carb ko kasi dry po ito... wala na rin yung diaphragm nito... jettings ko po ay 105 primary and 140 secondary. sa case ko pangit manakbo kung high speed na at hirap pag akyatan. gumagana pa ba ang secondary na jet ko? may silbi pa po ba ito? nagtry po kasi ako takpan yung secondary jet ko pero ayaw umandar.

    yung tinuro ko po .. yan po yung dry na part ng carb ko mga masters.

    me no expert on carbs pero afaik the second throttle plate ay konektado sa first. btw, yung throttle plate ang bumubukas. yung venturi is a restriction which is not "movable". namiss ko tuloy yung boxtype namin na sinubukan kong baklasin ang carb nung high school ako....hehehe hindi ko naibalik ng maayos napagalitan tuloy ke erpats.

    maybe i can be of help, eto ang mga "quick carburetor checks" by the book:
    1. float level adjustment - air cleaner removed and engine idling, if fuel dribbles from main jet float level is high
    2. low speed and idle system - increase speed slowly, if runs rough low speed circuit is malfunctioning
    3. accelerator pump circuit - engine off, open throttle. fuel must discharge.
    4. main jet circuit - engine at approx 2,500 rpm, slowly cover air intake. engine should speed up.

    try mo muna linisin with carb cleaners or wd40.

    best thing to do is to bring it to a mechanic. kung malapit ka sa kamuning, mas maigi.

    sir I used 4k carburator on my 4g32 enginne. I ssealed all the water spouts from the water pump and in the intake manifold. bakit me lumalabas na tubig pa din sa ilalim ng 4k carb/ swak nman to sa bracket nya? help nman mga masters.
