Minute per Liter * Idle ?

Mga master's tanong lang po, kung ano idea nyo sa (Minute or time)/L ng mga Gas at Diesel engine, any displacement indicate nalang po, aircon ON and OFF.. kung may naka experience na mag TEST nito..>>

para po may Idea kami sa consuption ng FUEL pag traffic at Waiting.. salamat po..

kahit liter/minute or liter/minute OK lang, just want idea po how we consume FUEL at idel or idel w/aircon..hehe..>>

TRY ko sana mag cut sa fuelhose tapos container kung ilan gastos sa fuel..wala lang time eh..>>

mahirap malaman yan....ewan ko lang.

ako kasi i let my engine idle for at least 8 mins every morning before hitting the road..

basta ganito..the engine will consume more fuel during idling.

hehe di kasi maiwasan mag aircon lalo na pag mainit panahon & watching 14" TV kinakapos ung Inverter pag OFF yung engine ehh..>>

gusto ko sana malaman howmuch/minute w/aircon idle..hehe

Napaka precise naman nyan... paano kung 7mins and 38 secs lang, di na tatakbo ng maayos si Monzter?

Actually that L/Min also entered my mind since a lot of my time now is spent idling in traffic. In the morning, i just idle for 20-30 secs and i'm off... just keep the revs low until you hit normal operating temp.

i cant seem to comprehend with my limited physics knowledge how a car in idle consumes more gas than a car that is reving its engine to move.

baka naman mas malakas lalo na sa traffic since inaapakan mo ang accelerator, therefore, pumping gas, na usually.mas madalas kapag nasa traffic ka.kasi stop and go.

pag long drives naman. mas matipid compared to city driving CONSIDERING THE DISTANCE covered.

let's make an extreme situation where a car is at idle and another "on the run" (reving its engine). sa ganitong situation, you mean, mas maraming gasolina ang nakokonsumo ng naka idle kaysa sa kotseng umaandar!? sabihin na nating 30 mins nka idle ung isa..at 30 mins tumatakbo ng constant speed ung isa.

ibig sabihin ba nito, mas malakas ang konsumo nung naka idle kaysa dun sa isang car?

Eh lagi kong ginagawa to eh, lalo na pag hinihintay gf ko, syempre naka aircon.

a diesel consumes less at idle....

the lower the RPM the lower the consumption. whether at idle or not.
