    Problem with L300 FB 4D56 engine. Bigla na lang parang masisinok then mamamatay. After starting, minsan a-andar pero gumagapang. After some time, parang walang nangyari a-andar ng maayos. Pero minsan bigla na lang mamatay habang tumatakbo.

    Things done:
    1. Drained and clean the tank (2X)
    2. Cleaned the fuel line, then bleed.
    3. Check transmission OK
    4. Bought a replacement Fuel pump, same problem.

    The problem is hindi mai-layo yung van dahil baka tumirik. Baka may naka experienced na nito.

    Pards, napalitan mo na yung fuel filter? Check mo rin yung maliit strainer filter sa input fuel line ng injection pump. Kailangan mo ng tweezer o panungkit para matanggal at buga lang ng compressed air, tanggal na bara sa strainer.
    Ito yung nangyari sa akin before, kahit naka 2x na akong nagdrain at naglinis ng fuel tank ko, ganun pa rin, kasi barado yung fuel filter at strainer filter.
    Wait pa natin yung ibang diesel gurus kung ano say nila.

    bro baka naman injection pump mo na me problema. Patsek mo na din para sigurado.

    Check mo yung connection between fuel filter my strainer na nakakabit dun sa fuel line.. usually nagkakaroon ng parang putik dun.. medyo maliit lang yun. pag hindi nalinis yan kumakadyot kadyot yan and walng power kahit diinan mo yung gas pedal.. sa diesel kasi kailang ng malakas na pressure.. kalimitin akala nila injection pump ang sira.. pag ok naman at malini.. check your injection pump..

    Twink had the same problem and he was able to properly diagnose and correct the fault.

    OK naman po. Ang nakakalito kasi dito sa case namin is OK sya pag start, then magagamit mo ng matagal ng walang problema. Pero minsan bigla na lang "masisinok" then mamatay na. Pag nag start ka right after mamatay, ok naman pero kahit sagad na tapak ng gas ayaw bumatak. Mag palit ka lang ng gear halos mamatay, tapos usod pagong. Pero after mga 30 mins na patay, may start na OK nanaman.

    One time sumama pa yung mekaniko sa long trip (bicol) just to see when and how, pero hindi lumabas yung problem. After almost a month bigla nanaman nag kaganun.

    Kung ipasok po ba sa casa malalaman once and for kung ano problem o mag i-isolate din sila?

    This is a problem which can be diagnosed by any good diesel workshop. It may take some time though as the fault is intermittent.

    leogm... check mo linya mo baka may hangin, kasi ganyan din nangyari sa akin.. same tayo ng makina.. o kaya nmn my butas na ang hose mo check mo din.

    try mo remove yong hangin sa fuel line ng engine mo by slightly loosening yong nut sa fuel nozzle while yong engine ay running. macheck mo na rin don kung may fuel na pumupunta sa nozzle kasi baka may less or baradong fuel line papunta sa nozzle kaya namamatay ang engine.try mo rin rin check ,if di pa rin mawala yong problem mo, pa check mo yong mga nozzle baka marumi na at di na siya makabuga ng right optimizing pressure ng fuel or di na makabigat ng tamang optimize fuel, pa check u pressure baka kailangan na palitan nozzle. suggestion lang . thanks

    +1, puwede nga rin tignan yung spray pattern nung nozzle if ok pa. Baka may barado lang na isang fuel line coming from the IP. Kung may knocking sound din, baka may mali rin sa timing although parang wala base sa explanation.
