It happened to me once. Naputulan ako timing belt not because na overuse cya. naputol yung balancer belt nya and bumara sa timing belt kaya nag snap buti na lng it happened at slow speed. what i noticed sa design ng later 4D56 the one fitted roller rocker arms is that these RRAs do snap easily. I think this was a safety factor made by the designers to save us from costly repairs of a valve interference pag naputulan ng belt. instead of causing a bent valve or mabutas ang piston, the RRA just breaks para bang fuse sa electrical, it bursts pag may short to avoid further damage. you just have to replace the damaged rocker arm and you are good to go again no need to dismantle the cylinder head. its better than the older type rocker arms nila.
