Your voltage regulator is already faulty. Continued overcharging like that will eventually fry your battery. Update your alternator.

What is the ideal voltage for 2sn battery during charging (no aircon on) and after start-up?

my car is '81 model. Alternator capacity is probably 40amps. Engine is 2T, 1600. Tester gamit ko is digital from crd-king

normal charging voltages for a lead acid battery is minimum 13.2 volts (slow charge) and maximum 14.7 volts (fast charge). actual maximum where the battery starts to get damaged is 15.6 volts.

so yes, medyo mataas na yang 14.92V. need mo na mag-add ng water nyan twice a week siguro.

if your voltage regulator is that of the external electromechanical type and not the solid state electronic, it might need adjustment or if the tension springs are weak or rusted, it will have to be replaced.

Salamat sa lahat nang nagshare. Balak ko palitan alternator nang ic type. In the mean time, siguro on ko na lang park at day time para may load. Thanks again sa lahat

I suggest you turn on your accessories,- aircon, headlights or foglamps (DRL style if during the day... ), and radio (to a much lesser extent) to "regulate" the voltage across your battery, bro... IMO, okay lang iyan if you do these things...

My "old school" van's alternator is at 14.5V max at no load, and its battery is now 3 years and counting...
