paano alisin salamin ng side-mirror?

just trying to help 2 friends with problematic power mirrors...di na kasi inasikaso pero baka maayos ko pa

I just need to know paano alisin yung salamin ng side-mirrors so I can get to the motors to spray WD40. vehicles are vios 2005 and lancer 2009. I know how to remove the assembly sa body but not the mirrors, screwdriver lang yata kailangan ko?

wala kasi ako kilala tirador ng side-mirror kaya wala ako matanungan :P

Why don't you just use the straw provided with the WD 40 and fire behind the lens?

To take off the side mirror just pry it out with a spoon or similar blunt instrument. It will pop out of its socket and into your hand.

I heard some people uses a heat gun to heat the mirror slowly so it can be removed easily before prying it.
