    Just an update.

    I bought a Motolite Excel 2SM nearly two years ago. First year performance esp. the vehicle start up was really good. About 16 months into its use, it started to exhibit a weaker start. I'm trying to get this replaced under warranty. I brought it to two different battery shops. First one, is where I bought the battery from. They say my alternator needs a checkup, which I think is a misdiagnose bec. it is evident that they don't want to honor the warranty. Second shop which sells the "A" brand, is willing to do a test just to disprove the claims of the first shop, as well as to better defend my warranty claims with the first shop.

    If I don't get a replacement, goodbye Motolite. I'm buying the other "A" brand. :D

    Para sa akin, questionable na ang quality ng Motolite. For the past 2 years, 2 Motolite batteries na ang pumalya sa 2 cars namin. The 2nd one just today after 11 months pa lang sa starex! Maintenance-free Excel and Gold battery kami parati thru their express hatid service. One battery died 2 years ago and pinalitan naman under warranty pero after 2 weeks pa!! Dinala pa raw sa Espana office nila to verify!
    Today naman, 3 hours na kami naghihintay para lang dumating ang "express hatid".
    Maayos kausap ang hotline nila but dealers naman pupunta sa yo at poor quality syempre ang dealers.
    Goodbye to Motolite na kami. Poor qulaity ang products, sayang at Filipino-made sana. Will check out Bosch or GS.

    *number001: ano yung "A" brand? Call Motolite 370-1000 to get a replacement. good luck at usually matagal sila magreplace based on my case last time.
