500 rpm drop when switching headlights on

I used to think this is normal for 17-year old used cars.

I've never cleaned the light terminals with contact cleaner coz they're hard to access (car has pop-up headlight).

Is there something wrong in my electrical system?

What are the things due replacement?

I've already installed a grounding kit which didn't solve the flickering rpm.
