digital instrumental panel need HELP!

mga tsikoters bka pede patulong dito sa 99 nissan frontier 4x2 AT,
ung digital instrumental panel nagloko biglang ng- 999999KM ang odometer tapos ang temperature gauge went high and ang fuel gauge went to high din! pero ngbabalik din sa normal. pls help!!

yung cluster mo ay may SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM , and it can be checked by a qualified automotive electronic technician however, pag masusundan mo 'to this is the procedure ;

ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC MODE:

1) to activate on-board diagnostic mode,turn ignition ON. change ODOMETER/TRIPMETER TO " TRIP A " or "TRIP B". turn ignition OFF.

2) while pressing ODOMETER/ TRIPMETER SWITCH, turn ignition ON . Ensure TRIPMETER indicates "000.0" press ODOMETER/TRIPMETER switch more than 3 times within 5 seconds.

3)On -board diagnostics mode is activated. All ODOMETER/ TRIPMETER segments should be illuminated. REPLACE SPEEDOMETER ( UNIFIED METER CONTROL UNIT ) if operation is not specified.

4) press and hold ODOMETER/TRIPMETER switch . gauge indicators will move and become stable after about one minute .

basically what it says here is 90 % of the trouble is coming from speedometer or UNIFIED METER CONTROL UNIT.

bambino thanks for the post, ask ko lang po if nagawa ko ung ON BOard DIAGNOSTIC MODE, maaayos po ba siya nuun? PAsensya medyo bago bago lang po sa mga ganitong problem. THANKS AGAIN!

yung info para lang malaman kung alin ang faulty . you could ask your trusted mechanic to interpret it for you .

don't forget to ask them to check the cluster wires i.e. ignition power and ground
