Hindi dahil Sa alternator kaya lumalakas sa gas. Its because the engine sensor rely cold engine. Therefore it burns more gas to try and bring it back to normal operating temp.

The fan can not make the engine cold enough to go below it's normal operating temperature to a point that it will consume more fuel.

Kaya pala kung overheat, recta fan. Hindi pala kaya palamigin Ng fan Yung engine.
Kung normal operating temp na then andar pa rin fan, Hindi na pala bababa temp.Last edited by [archie]; April 12th, 2014 at 07:39 PM.

The fan is there to blow heat away from the radiator just keep it at constant operating temperature but it does not mean it can make the engine temperature lower than normal. There is a temp gauge at the instrument panel. You can check it.

Exactly, then there's the thermo switch to turn it off when its at normal operating temp. Continue that, it will cool it more than normal. That's why recta Sa overheat, to give it cooler than normal water flow.
Anyway, no sense arguing.
