Your fuel float (fuel gauge sender) has seen better days & is better off replaced with a new one for accurate fuel level reading. This is usually the longterm outcome if your habit is to fill your tank with a few hundred pesos with your guage in the 1/4 or almost empty state (with the "fuel low" indicator on). This happens since your tank rarely gets full as most of us refuse to fill our tank full for financial reasons. What happens is the the electronic contact points in your fuel sender gets worn out in the lower 1/4 - near empty area. As the contact point areas becomes worn out overtime,This will later on register in your gauge as erratic fast low or fast empty on your gauge & also at times on inclined areas it seems to be ok or gives an inaccurate reading.
This is easily corrected with a new OEM float. Yes OEM. Surplus is ok as long as it is in a good state. I dont advise replacement brands as they give inaccurate readings too

halos lahat nang sasakyan ay ganyan. para mabigyan ang drayber ng warning at makahanap ng gasolinahan.
isipin mo na lang kung mag-fuel warning at pagtapos ng isang kilometro ay tirik na...
mabilis bumaba o magpalit kapag 1/4 or less? it has to do with the gas tank's shape.
personally, i do not think you need to change anything. my brand new car is like that..

If your on a tight budget, some meticulous car electricians can build up with a solder the worn out contact points of your fuel float/sender. (That is if your fuel float is still "salvageable"). Brandnew OEM is expensive at P5k up depending on your car model but is the most accurate & sure fix to your woes...

normal lang yan na mag-warning light less than 1/4 ng tangke. kaya inilagay yan para early warning sayo to fill-up lalo na kung mahaba ang byahe mo. since sinukat mo kamo at may 10 liters ka pa na laman ng tank ay magandang basis mo yan. assuming ang ave. fuel consumption ng hi ace mo ay 8 km/li, that means kapag umilaw na ay kaya pa takbuhin ng hi ace mo yung 80kms bago ka itirik
