power window problem!

i have a problem regarding d2 sa window ng car nmin, pag pindot mo pbba bumababa nmna pro pa ptaas na ayaw na tumaas nun slamin.. i tried na patignan d2 smen pro d nla alam kun anu cra kc dw d nman putol un cable..

hope u can help me w this, ang hrap sa toll gate kc dko mbukas un window ng tsikot ko, kelangan q pa bumaba... its a 95 gli corolla

baka motor, pero kung sbi mo bumababa, baka marumi lang, meron tiyak na problema yan at may solusyon, baka di lang marunong yung tumingin? sang area kayo sir, para marecomendahan kayo ng maayos na shop.

your power windows usually start acting funny at about five years of age. it is usually the driver's window that goes first. the driver's window has the most cycles up and down, hence, the dirver's window of course goes first. duh! your power windows' circuits to the actuators or motors are normally grounded until you turn the switch to either go up or down. if the window goes down as you've mentioned, then the motor or actuator is active and the one of the circuits to the up mode is open circuit. the open circuit is not on the wire as the same wire carries the return circuit. the problem lies in the switch. if you happen to be of a careful and meticulous person, you can actually do this yourself. if your memory is low as in ram capacity is low, get a digital camera and take picture of each component as you uncover them. be very careful though as there are eight small rocker arms of the four switches and four to eight tiny springs. do this in a very well lit area preferably your dining table. carefully disassemble the main switch on top of a white terry towel or bedsheet so you see all the components. once open, note the positions of the rockers. clean the rocker contacts with a toothpick or a flat tipped jeweler's screwdiver. you will see the pitting on the rockers and the anvil contacts. reassemble using petroleum jelly or vaseline. voila! you just repaired your mystery

i would not recommend using petroleum products on rubber, just like i would not use a condom in conjunction with petroleum jelly or vaseline. this would just degrade the latex and melt it and later gets stickier. what i would recommend is silicone spray lubricant on window weatherstrips and seal. similar with the door seals, they are made of rubber. try experimenting with rubber band soaked in gasoline so as to accelerate the experiment. and you will understand what i am trying to say.

Maaaring nasa motor ang problema nyan, may rubber kasi nakapaikot sa mechanism ng motor, usually pag pataas d na kaya pag sliding na yung rubber pero narerepair yan. Mahal din kasi pag nagpalit ka ng motor. Nangyari na rin sa akin yan.

i have an experience with sticky power windows at first ginamit ko wd40 pero lumala sa umpisa lang ok sya.. i bought a wax lubricant, nabili ko lang sa puregold, brand niya waxco for power windows. so far ok pa naman 5 mos na.

yung bandang likod na window ko naman nasira i mean bigla lang stop. dinala ko sa Wizzard sa may tomas morato corner E rodriquez near Dallas. yun ang galing na repair sya agad. i paid less than 500 pesos kasi d naman sira motor
clean lang niya contacts and spray niya silicon sa gilid ng window.

yung Wizzards nabasa ko lang dito sa tsikot...maganda reviews kaya pasalamat ako doon sa tao na nagshare...

that's what mitsu casa use here when i observed during my 1000PMS, it only differs in brand but the same 535 Gel. i agree silicone spray is better (i have the 3 in 1 silicone spray)
