Wala naman akong naamoy that day after nilang gawin lahat yun.
i believe there's a shorted wire somewhere, could be headlight related seems it happens only at night. have it checked immediately, this could be disastrous if left unchecked.
another possibility is a loose socket, maybe the electrician who installed the horn didn't do a good job nof putting back stuff he took apart hehe. could also be coincidental, the car is after all quite old. the same thing happened to me a few years ago. good thing i was able to arrive home safe and sound. goodluck sir.
without a relay, your horn won't be able to sound to its true potential, as to the burning part, i'm really not sure about that. i still feel that there's a loose connection somewhere in your wiring, as evidenced by the loss of gauge lighting. it may or may not recur but it's best to have it checked.
Burnt smell was a busted fuse for the gaugle light. Buti magaling yung electrician and nahanap niya yung culprit.
