Connect the positive terminal of one car to the positive terminal of the other. Do this with the negative. Remember to keep the car with the strong battery running prior to restarting the dead car. Goodluck.

Yep, the negative terminal is connected to the negative of the other car...

On a sidenote, if yuo're going to buy jumper cables, get one that is rated at around 200 amperes at the least. From experience, the cheaper 100amp ones cant carry enough juice to start the dead car.

If you want to avoid sparks when connecting the two bateries, you have to connect the negative of the stronger batery to the body of the other car....and not the negative pole of the weaker batery.

When the car is running disconnect the connections as soon as possible.

I'm with wildthing. sa body ang kabit ng negative. yun cheapie ones sa mall eh umiinit lang ,manipis at di kaya magpa run ng dead battery. pagbili ko sa mall ginamit ko yun aligator clip and purchase battery cables at our suki surplus shop. the wire is now almost as thick sa the insulator. kayang-kaya na.
