Plastic Headlamps Cleaning.

Anyone knows how to make plastic headlamps to be clear again like new?
May alam ba kayo saan pwede ipagawa para luminaw uli ang lens nang plastic na headlamps?

May paraan pa ba o palit bili nalang bago headlamp assembly?

kung kuripot kayo, use colgate white. muscle-challenging, but it works.
but there's a commercial product someone here recommended.. mother's plastic polish. i got it from the mall auto accessories store. less than 250 bucks, if i remember right.
it works great on the outside. very easy to DIY apply and polish. i can't even call it a a warm-up or mini-workout. all you need is a vasahan. but if you need to polish the inside, you'll have to find some way to open it and put it back again...... heh heh.

i tried it and it did wonders to the outside. but my inside surface looked like it needed polishing as well, but i don't want to open it up yet.. but my night illumination has improved..

Meron rin kasi ako nakikita sa mall particularly Ace Hardware. Glaz Blinx headlight restorer. Di ko lang sure kung mabisa sa plastic headlamp lens.

How many times did you apply it on your plastic lens to get the stained or blurish off? Is it easy to do?

autogard's scratch remover works too! okay din ung toothpaste, it also works well.

i use colgate white on our watches' glass or plastic lenses, to polish them. it's easy, because the area involved is very small.
i once tried it on headlight glass, although only a very small area.. mahirap... the commercial product is much easier to use..

Paano po ginawa yan para maging ganyan ka-clear uli? Kailangan ba talaga po muna na i-sand, hindi ba pwedeng deretso polish na lang?

plan ko na sana palitan ang car headlights buti na lang maraming nag bigay ng tips para sa headlights cleaning lalo na yung paggamit ng colgate. talagang marami MacGyver members dito sa tsikot. Hehe

Matatanggal niya yung yellowish tint kung sa loob mo ipapahid at ung mga scratches na dapat wala dun.

Bro, ipagawa mo nalang kay PDM88 or kay Hanzander. Search hanzander sa FB and PDM88 sa O.L>X. Malilinis nila headlights mo. If linis talga kelangan, kay Hanzander mo na dalhin kasi detailer talaga siya.

Kung sa loob, looks ok pa naman ang HL ko. Sa labas lang talaga pansin ko ang kailangan malinis. Try ko sinabi mo SiRbossR, check ko yung FB at OLX. Salamat sa input.

One time lang bro. Just small portion enough to cover the surface of the headlight cover then rub it on a circular motion with a piece of cloth, applying pressure to remove the stain.

Use toothpaste, it's just as effective.
