i've started to buy low maintenance batteries for our other vehicles. half the price of MF while being able to add water during warranty

Nakabili nako amaron bro, yun dating 2.4k na 3k batt na binili ko 3.1k na. Kasama na sa 3.1k yun discount pag binigay mo existing batt mo. Samantala sa amaron 3.3k from 3.8k (-250 batt -discounts)
Nga lang NS40 yun amaron and 1sn 60 yun 3k batt

i switched to maintenance free batteries after using 2 low maintenance batteries previously for our rig ( the 3k batt w/c came w/ the unit and its replacement - motolite enforcer) . i decided to make the switch after seeing the fumes they emitted pretty much sullied up the engine bay constantly.

Yes, the regular vent cap type wet cell batteries do emit small amounts of corrosive acid to the adjacent areas making metals around it to get corroded whereas the maintenance free batteries holds the fumes inside and allows it to condense and drip back to the electrolyte solution thereby making the topping off of the electrolyte with battery distilled water unnecessary. There is a valve for this purpose and it only vents over pressure outside the battery to equalize the internal pressure with atmospheric pressure.
