    Tanong ko lang kung wala bang voltage regulator tong alternator ng starex? Pinabili kasi ako ng voltage regulator ng mekaniko ko para sa alternator na to.

    The regulator is inside the alternator. Are you changing the regulator on your alternator and its where did you get the parts? If I were you I must replace the whole alternator because the regulator is built in.

    as long as your mechanic is capable of building it , he can say that it's the regulator . he should be testing the wires first and if these are good get into the alt, bench test it and if no good, start testing the field coil, stator coil, rectifier assembly and after all these good then that's the regulator problem , this is known to have problems..

    you should be able to find it at any electrical/alternator store. bring the sample para sure.

    Yes, I think it is built in the alternator (they call it IC regulator, although I have not really blasted one open) vs. the conventional diode regulator that's placed outside....

    Thanks for all your answers... Nakabitan na ng separate voltage regulator... pero plano ko pa check sa ibang mechanic or electrician...
