bad effect of lower amp battery

is it true that lower amp battery well damage the alternator with a higher amp rating? I recently replaced my stock battery but i found out later na yung pinalit kung battery has a lower ampere rating(70 amp) than the stock battery(90 amp). my alternator ampere rating is 90 amp. is this bad for the car specially sa alternator? tnx.

i'm not sure but some post sa carnival thread says na masisira ang alternator when you replace your oem battery with lower ampere rating

ano ang ampere rating nya 100? Double check mo na lang at baka masira yung alternator mo..

btw, my 10 month old rocket battery is now in the dealer for warranty claim.

wla pong motolite na 100 amp ang pinakamura bosch napagtanungan ko is sa warren sa binondo pero check nyo sukat pag mas mababa sa 100 amp bka magkaproblem alternator nad d tatagal baterya

will i guess i need to change my battery to oem specs. the problem is its hard to source aftermarket battery for carens with the same OEM specs(ampere rating). no choice but to buy from the casa which is so expensive.

sir val dami na rin nagpalit ng battery ng carens natin pero yung iba di binili sa casa.. baka may alam sila na store..im also planning to change my battery soon(ok pa naman siya as of this time *36k kms)..

yung nabili kong battery 4 months ago kasi motolite pero 70 ampere lang. the highest ampere the other battery brand has is only 80 ampere. oem ampere rating ng carens is 90amp. wala akong mahanap na 90 amp na aftermarket battery kahit saan store na kasya sa engine bay ng carens.
