power antenna fix

hello, anyone here know a place where i can have my power antenna fixed? its in an old galant gti so repair nalang. thanks.

Or you may try with any of the Banawe boys na kumakaay along Banawe. They sometimes can fix these things. Putol na antennae wire or busted motor. Their service is relatively cheaper compared to a brand new one though reliability is at best questionable. You may also opt for surplus ones as mentioned above or for the best option a brand new one. Goodluck.

I think Sonny's (or was it Ben's?) OK did the one in our old W123 Benz. They cut out the broken section of the mast. Yun nga lang medyo umikli.

Teka, ano ba sira ng power antenna mo? hehehehe.

guys pasingit ha...sira din power antenna ng ride ko eh....naputol yung antenna mismo, pero ok pa yung motor. pwede bng palitan lang yung antenna o bili na lang ako ng bago??

thanks for ur replies guys,....HERO, ano un 1,000p? new or surplus? is dat the whole assmbly? di na taas/baba pwer antna ko unless i push/pull it manually whenever i do, di namn bumabba/taas all the way, but the motor sounds ok...nakakabili ba antena lang mismo? thanks again.

the banawe boys offered to fix mine for 800. replacement mast yun (so, you guys with broken masts, try that). yun pala, mahina na motor ko, so they replaced the whole thing for 1800. this is a mazda 626.

ei orly where exactly in banawe did you had ur pwr antenna mast repaired? yun din problema ko eh. sino nga rin pala yung kausap mo?

just some guys roaming around the front of autorama. it is highly probable you can get a surplus antenna for 1000 or so and do it yourself (assuming your motor is trashed). kung mast lang napatid yung plastic.. 400 lang pala (hindi 800).

nakuha ako dun sa 1800 kasi sa concorde (?) megamall 2400 antenna pa lang, no labor.

Update: Surplus power antenna assembly with motor (mostly from cars) was being sold at P600 lang...puede a itong tawaran (this is a quote in Angeles). I suppose if you could find one in manila hindi dapat lumayo dun sa price na yun...else talo kayo.

Sa casa pedeng yung antenna lang...ang madalas kasi masira ay yung metal rod at yung plastic "gear" sa loob ng rod that push and pull it. Ang frontier is aroud P1900. (original ito).

Ang brandnew na generic (taiwan made usually) complete assembly with motor cost about P900-1200 depending on the store (these are the price quoted to me here in Angeles Pampanga). Manila shops should be on the same price range.

Yung antenna ng kapatid ko nabali ng careless pedestrian. A new one was Php 1K sa Banawe.

Yung sa Accord ng gf niya ayaw naman bumaba. We 'bent' it slightly (halos hindi kita) to one side and lubricated the mast. It now works.
