My ford escape's alternator is broken. Its a 4x2 escape,2003. The ford service center would charge me 50,000 pesos just for this small alternator.Is it really that expensive? I dont really know anything about cars. Can i buy an alternator that would fit my escape from another source, say from another manufacturer?
Or can i order from the internet? Would alternators from U.S or Canada would fit the Ford Escape's manufactured here in the philiippines? Cause i saw alternators in the internet that only costs aroun $135. Is it advisable to buy from the internet instead? Thanks so much.
