Check mo kung me busina ka. Kung okay naman ang busina mo, malamang loose contacts lang sa battery terminals. Try mong higpitan ang battery terminal connections.
Kung madumi or merong salt deposits sa terminal, you need to clean them thoroughly. I just use water...make sure the salt deposits are totally washed out of the car kasi this is very corrosive to metal. Then put some light grease or oil para hindi na magsalt formation ulit ang terminals.
Kung pati busina mahina, check the battery if it has a charge. It should be more than 12 volts ideally (around 13-14v minsan). Less than 12 volts means na drain ang batteries mo.
Pag drain ang charge you MIGHT have a bigger problem....faulty charging system and dead batteries ang worst case (kasi you might need to buy a new battery or repair the charging system/alternator). Sa light case baka loose contact lang din like putol na ground wire or improperly grounded wirings.
If you don't understand what I mentioned above, it would be best to leave your car to an expert electrician...else you might toast your ride.
Thanks Wildthing! the busina is also dead so i presume the battery is dead as well. Im fairly sure its the battery. I think its been over 3 years since i changed it. Thanks a bunch
Before buying, have the battery charged muna (around P20 lang)....if it does not take any charge malamang sira na ito. Ang bubbling ng liquid sa loob ng battery is going to be high/fast kung me sira (unless sealed type ang battery mo hindi mo ito makikita).
A 3 years service is a good lifetime ng battery...but still check the other details I mentioned to you. A really dead battery won't start and go even if itulak mo.
Usually depends on the waranty of the battery. If the warranty says three years...it usually lasts for those three years. If two same case. Amazing how they can engineer these things to last just a fraction longer than the waranty.
Just the same its best to write down in a service logbook when you changed your battery or better still, write it down on the battery itself. So you know when its time to change it. I travel out of town a lot so I would rather change a battery when its time (when the warranty is over) rather than risk it going dead on me in the middle of nowhere.
