    Can a car charger socket provide enough power for an internet modem (Huawei B593-S22 Wireless-N 4G / LTE Router)?

    Eto sir un nakalagay sa wall adaptor nun modem
    Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.5A
    Output: 12.0V = 1.0A

    Any idea san nakakabili ng cable?

    Thanks!

    Better yet, use your smartphone as the wifi router.

    200 watts power inverter will be more than enough to power it up. 700-900 up to 1.4k ata bili ko sa akin year 2012 sa Ace Hardware. Meron din mura na 75 watts to 150 watts. You'll just hook it up sa cigarette lighter port, pwede din maglagay ng extension cord na maliit par marami masaksak. Gamit ko yan pag brownout din hehe, mini generator, basta every 4 hours paandarin ang makina for 5 mins.

    Pag may power inverter na, pwede na rin electric fan or any 240 v outlet, basta make sure kaya ng max watts ng inverter. 200 watts provided me more charging options sa kotse. Laptop charging, 2 phones (mine and my wife), tablet for kits. Basta kaya ng inverter, at kabitan mo lang ng extension cord.

    Mas malakas ba boss ang kuryente galing sa powerbank kesa sa cigarette socket? Any idea sa output on both?

    ngayon ko lang nalaman may ganito pala, salamat sa kaalaman! hahaha
    pano ba boss mga compute ng watt base sa naka sulat sa adaptor?

    Inefficient pag power inverter lalo na sobrang liit lang ng load

    Easiest is to get a DC-DC cigarette lighter adapter from Concorde, Electronics Botique or similar. Dalhin mo na lang yung router mo to see if the tips fit. Yung may replaceable fuse ang kunin mo para di sayang - you can unscrew it near the contacts to check. Mga around 300 ito

    Or get a portable router with Micro or Mini USB input - may nakita ako nito sa auntie ko Huawei din. Then get a branded cigarette lighter-to-USB adapter

    Nakapag compute na ako dati nito sa laptop charger ko that's why I know it's 65 watts.. teka isipin ko ulit haha.

    It is computed based sa details ng charger mo:

    Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz, 0.5A
    Output: 12.0V = 1.0A

    Sa output ata... 12.0V * 1.0 Amps = 12 watts only...

    My laptop charger output is 20V * 3.25 Amps = 65 watts

    Watts = Volts * Amperes

    Actual consumption of power may vary, pero atleast may ballpark ka na. For example yun laptop ay gumamit ng High Performance mode so nataas siya... Hope anyone can confirm this.

    I agree, so make sure na magdala ka na ng laptop or mini desktop sa kotse hehe. Kasi kami ng family ko bitbit pa rin ang internet sa kotse lalo't traffic.

    One thing I love about power inverters ay pwedeng magamit during brownouts.

    Watt = current x voltage

    Mag portable ka na lang na modem para madala mo din kahit saan. around 5k yung sa huawei na may kasamang external antenna

    2 na options ko, dc-dc cigarette lighter at power inverter.

    nakabili na kasi ako ng modem, mukhang feasible naman tong setup, hindi ko lang alam mga technical terms at computation

    will update this thread with pic pag napagana ko.

    salamat mga bossing sa sagot at suggestions!

    If you'll follow the DC-DC adapter route, get at least rated for 1000ma (or 1.0a) as according to your router's adapter. Unless may iba ka pang isaksak na AC appliances, sayang lang yung inverter for your setup. Check mo yung polarity, compare mo sa old AC adapter mo to the DC-DC one (selectable kasi eh) - usually center pin is positive.

    Di ko sure kung ano ibig mong sabihin hehe pero I think what you mean is yung polarity - yes selectable sya either positive or negative ang center pin, yung sa nakalawit na saksakan eh marami syang tips or pins available sa package

    Sir ParticleX, anong magiging epekto kung 2000ma un adapter? mas maganda kasi un packaging ng ND-122. hahaha!

    He said get atleast 1000mA or 1Amp, it doesn't matter if you get 2000mA, although tataas presyo nyan I'm sure hehe.

    You said kasi na yung current adapter mo is rated at 1amp. Yes with greater power comes...... at a greater price Oks lang din naman na higher capacity yung kunin mo kung di naman masyado malayo presyo.

    Gusto ko rin sana neto kaso yung pocket wifi lang through USB, minsan makakatapos ka pa ng movie dahil sa sobrang trapik

    Yes, the car cigarette cable is enough basta parehas ang jack with the wall adaptor. Sa CDR King meron.
