Sirs, the fog lights of my Innova is H16 12V 19 watts. H16 bulbs are very rare, can I use H11 12V 55watts instead? Is there any danger? BTW the sockets of H11 and H16 are the same. Fit na fit sya sa housing. Thanks

H16 is normally for Ford. The H16 in Toyota foglamps are actually H11 base.
The PGJ19 base series common with H8, H9, and H11. Osram used H16 for their 19W bulb of this series.

Thank God for an answer sir, so is it safe to assume that using h11 on foglamps in toyota is safe? I mean, even thought they have different wattage as stated

Baka need mo ng harness kit with relay. If gagastos ka lang din for harness kit and relay, better na rin to settle for 3000K or 4300K H11 HID

Fog light color temperature is normally 2600K to 2800K. this gives best results. HID for fog lights are useless.

Our 2008 Innova is using 51W foglights H11,- all stock.

*TS: there you go, problem solved. use 51W, H11 instead or even 55W should be no issue.

Ano nga kaya meron sa Toyota at puro H16 na fog lamp bulbs nila? It's useless eh ang dilim.

In my experience ok naman 3000K sa fogs..

See page 1. Somebody already replaced stock H16 19W bulb with H11 51W bulb. Your H11 30W should be no problem. Does not matter if halogen or LED.

Had a weird problem with my vios regarding this H16 bulb.
Stocks are originally H16. When the time it conks out i ordered H16 to my friend na may auto accessories shop. He told me na H11 ipapalit kasi fit din daw. To cut the story di pumapasok ang H11 we tried it sa binebenta nya na after market na fog light para sa vios pumapasok H11 dun sa bahay ng aftermarket. Pasok na pasok. When we tried to put the H16 from aftermarket to my orm fog light, ayaw pumasok ng bulb kahit H16. I find it weird.

So if you compare the 19W halogen vs 30W LED, mas higher consumption pa din talaga yung 30W kahit LED pa siya?

Also, tried comparing H16 and H11 side by side, mas mahaba yung H11.. But they both fit exactly

19W and 30W are already the power consumption bro. Unless the LED packaging states 30W is equivalent halogen power. In which case, the power consumption will be lower.

i was surprised when i surfed the internet.. even manufacturers have package labeling issues! one popular brand had problems, interchanging H11 and H16 on the label ,,,

H11 and H16 both are the same size but not the same wattage, H11 55w while H16 19w, it is not also advisable to use H11 on a H16 oem because the rating of the stock wire harness may not carry the 55w. Or worst come to worst the h16 projector might melt.
