Bakit mabagal at mahina ang pag taas ng Power Window ko sa likod? Sometimes it stops halfway and when I restarted it again, it goes up. Does it have to do with my batteries? or Window Motors? or just dirt?

I experience the same thing. Try removing the door panels then lubricate the railings. It will help a bit. I don't think its the batteries coz dati when I changed my battery, ganun pa din. Its either kailangan na i-relay ang motor. Hmmm..baka defect ito ng Suzuki. Some of my other friends with Vitaras also experience the same thing. It can also be attributed siguro sa increase ng resistance ng mga wires as our rig ages.

Siguro this could also be the same cause sa wipers ko. The motion isn't that "perky" sometimes. Parang mabagal.

Minsan naman ayaw sya bumaba. Ginagawa ko pinupokpok ko yun sidings sabay pindot sa switch at saka sya bababa. Tsk! Tsk! siguro nga defects ito ng Vitara. But yes, bihira ho din sya gamitin kaya siguro na stock-up. I will try to lubricate the moving parts pero kung hindi pa, I will try to live with it na lang siguro. Thanks mga Pare!

Astec, baka nga kailangan lang ng lubricant.........on my vit kasi pag mabagal umakyat eh nililigyan ko lang ng wd40 tapos taas baba ng mga 10x.......ayun mabilis bilis na.........now if it doesnt go down and you need to thump it first then it might be a carbon brush problem, baka hindi nag ko-contact........HTH

wiretap or any other vitara expert,

advise naman po, medyo makupad na yung power windows ko lalo na kapag sabay-sabay inaangat, how do i solve this problem? may problem kaya sa electrical o lubrication lang? yung mga mechanism kasi nalagyan ko na ng grease, yung mga guides na-try ko sprayan na rin ng lubricant, any suggestions? kailangan ba lagyan ng relay ito? thanks in advance!

I experience the same thing also pero sa rear windows ko lang and slightly sa front passenger's side. I guess it could probably be due to disuse. Adding relays might help however I haven't heard of anyone who tried it yet. Maybe you would like to be the first one to try it? :-)

My Vitara also has this kind of problem. The rear windows are kind of slow when closing, it sometimes stops halfway but when restarted it goes up all the way but still slow considering that my Vitara is just a little more than 4 year old car. If you have an option or have tried something that works, kindly let us know, we'd be willing to try this on our rig. For the meantime, I have posted the same article here, please find, hope it helps.

try lubricating the window channels along the frame. they tend to get stuck and detach from the thing below that holds them up. had the same prob, inumbag ko ung glass umandar uli. btw, tama si caloyski, if you open them sabay- sabay, sira din sabay-sabay kahit anong kotse. mag-oxygen ka na lang pagkulang hangin

sirs, try nyo lubricate yung frame ng window. yung part na dinadaanan ng salamin. doon ang friction e, try applying tire black. it worked for my isuzu, it might do for you, that is if your power motor is in good shape

Mineral oil available at Mercury Drug

    or

You can try to contact wiretap_md. He recently had his power windows disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated. AFAIK, it was home service.

Call him at 0917 3001415 for particulars.

Ito yung exact words niya: http://4x4ph.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7859
I also had my 4 power windows serviced because medyo mabagal na ang mechaninsm. The mechanics removed the weatherstrips, power window mechanism, sliders, etc. Cleaned it manually with water and re-lubricated. Now, speed is 100% faster. Parang mitsubishi power windows na ang bilis.

Medyo OT lang po and just my second post here . As most of you are all knowlegeable users of Vitara , would you please comment on the practicality of buying a 2nd hand Vitara ( just saw some at the car finder section ) I had my sights on the Hyundai Matrix but as it will be used by " new drivers " , kaya change of heart as obviously it will be tested out in a rather rough way. Been lurking for a while and read most of the post related to the Vitara.Pros and Cons please ? Are more problems with the Vitara
    Thanks in Advance
