Help! Umiinit na wire

Tanong ko lang po is it normal na umiinit ang live na wire? To be exact heres the scenario. Yung aircon ko po nakarekta sa battery sa positive terminal, this actually caused the wire to smoke dahil na rin sa init siguro. So an electrician decided na isabay na lang sa ignition yung positive ng aircon plus installed a couple of fuses pa. Pagdating ko sa bahay I checked kung umiinit pa rin yung wire, sad to say it still does. Gusto ko lang po malaman kung normal lang ito btw ang hinahawakan ko po ay yung pinagdugtungan nung wire covered with electrical tape.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hirap pa naman dami sa news ngayon yung bigla na lang nagliliyab na auto hehehe.

He is right. Your putting too much current and not enought wire to excess heat built-up. Use bigger gauge.

underrated ang wire mo bro.kung ang nakakabit e 2.0avx gawin mong 3.0avx or higher.then yong splicing mo not sure kung pano nya inisplice pero mas maganda kung crimped yon plus soldering kung maari just to be sure then balutan mo ng irrax tape.

Kung buong wire ang umiinit, undersized yung wire na ginamit. Kung sa dugtungan lang umiinit, hindi maganda ang ginawang dugtong.

wait!!! may relay dapat yan so the high current line is isolated from the switches. And yes, use a bigger auge wire plus make sre your connections are tight.

I agree on using a Relay as well (use a 20 / 30 amp 12 volt Automotive Relay). also, you use 12 or 14 guage wire for your primary wire.
