just a suggestion. in your next EB, why not invite the likes of SENBEL FINE CHEMICALS to brief you guys on the technical merit of their bio-diesel product? they can give you some technical research data as vetted by the DENR and the DOTC. Since you have aggrupated yourself with the identity of a diesel engine, maybe such kind of activity may be constructive. an open forum may also ensue.
Senbel may even agree to give you guys a steep discount for their products.
just a suggestion though :wink:

You can also invite Tito Hermoso (the resident diesel expert of C! Magazine) to grace your EB and probably feature your club:D

February 26th, 2003 12:37 AM #11woodfire, pasensya na po sa aming dalawa ni jay crew, ang tagal na kasi nitong dieselclub pero wala pa gaanong serious activities bukod sa mga offroading ng ilan sa mga members. mostly parang dito lang sa board nabubuhay ang club. medyo gusto lang namin siguro ni jay crew mag imagine ng mga things na maaring magawa ng club in the future. we're not making fun of the club.
jay crew said, sponsorships. why not? well, maybe through your help & effort in making the club known to people like SENBEL, DENR & DOTC, we could attract sponsorships that could fund the club's activities and become an active organization of our society towards support for more efficient and clean diesel engines and diesel fuels.
and lobbying? if the club would be able to make it big, then me might have enough clout, syempre with support also from other automobile orgs, etc. to 'convince' the congressmen/senators to pass decent laws with regards to, maybe, environment, car industry, etc.Signature

as what boybi said ineenvision lang namin lahat ng possibilities na pedeng mangyari sa org.what i mean sa sponsorship is katulad nung sinabi mo na probable discount sa sebel,like for example lahat ng dieselorg members magpapatronize ng sebel, in the long run baka pedeng magkaron pa ng mga discounts.
