1) sept 1 to dec 31, 2003 has been declared Grandfather Clause period. any person who wants to be a member of DieselClub.org will just have to do the following:

a) attend the EB's and activities of DieselClub
b) regularyly post in this forum
c) those who use gas-engined vehicles will have to be
sponsored by a regular member

starting jan 1, 2004, we will apply the rules for membership.

2) meetings/EB will be scheduled at least once a month. together with this, we will have activities to strengthen our camaradarie and bonding with fellow members.

3) we will come out with an official DieselClub.org tshirt.

a) tebs will be in charge of the procurement of the tshirts. he will give us his account number so that we can just deposit the payments directly to his account

tshirt with collar, royal blue with white logo left chest and below the collar middle back

b) garyq will be in charge of the embroidery of our logo

c) official tshirt must be worn during all club activities

4) we will have a Fun Drive to Tagaytay on Sept 20, 2003

a) meeting place will be at the Petron SLT station at 7am

b) those coming from further south can hook up with the group at the caltex station along the sta rosa tagaytay highway across the town center

c) otep will take charge of the car numbers for our convoy

d) we will proceed to our yet-to-be-confirmed destination in tagaytay for lunch and a lecture on biodiesel.

e) we have invited rsnald and Ray to give a discussion on this topic

f) since we do not have any funds yet, all expenses will be divided among the participants. however, we very much welcome those who want to be generous and give a bigger share

Can you schedule the Fun Drive to September 21, 2003 SUNDAY, instead of September 20, 2003. I think more people would be free on a Sunday...and a lazy Sunday drive would be better than a jam-packed Saturday drive. Di rin kasi ako pwede Saturday.

suggestion ko, head count na lang muna who can make it on saturday and who can make it on sunday. Ako naman, I'd rather do it on a saturday, rest day and family day ko ang sunday. Majority wins na lang.

tama si marwen,... pano yung mga taga visayas and mindanao and overseas? we'd be losing a very valuable member in the person of Doc Diesel kung di sila makakasali.
