Before doing anything, my first peso would be spent in hiring a mechanic to check all mechanicals if its still okay.
Once the mechanic confirms its okay, next on my list is to ensure that I atleast have some sort of document, notarized, saying that the car is given to me. Id keep the CR and OR so I can transfer it to my name later on.
Next on my list is to change all fluids and have the brakes checked or overhauled.
Then id change the timing belt. Then the electricals. Once the car is mchanicaly safe that will be the only time I fix other luxuries such as aircon, paint and mags.
My uncle owned a daewoo racer. He kinda sold it for scrap 2 yrs ago. Nagkaproblem sa immobilizer and mechanicals and he got a new car din kasi.
