Good day to all, After reading all your posts and topics here I have already been poisoned :o and decided to source for a 1967 - 1969 mustang for a project. I'm a totally newbie on this and would like to seek advice, suggestions on what I am planning right now which as follows.

    1. Source for a 1967- 1969 mustang body only no engine required ( how much will it cost roughly?)

    2. Engine thant can take up unleaded? so that it can also be use like an everyday car and most important will still be roaring

    3. I would make it an automatic so that my wife can also use it
    4. Interior will be modern something like this 1969/70 Ford Mustang Fastbacks by Modern Muscle - YouTube

    Thanks in advance

Not to discourage you or anything but it is quite difficult to source even a parts car Mustang (basically a car whose parts have been parted out). Even foreigners like Australians source their Mustang from here and ship it back home to restore. Even Cito Beltran had to make do with a real basket case (severely rusted out).

What you can do is to buy somebody else's "restored" Mustang. It will be more expensive since it has been spruced up. The exterior paint, condition of restoration, authenticity to factory standards, etc.. may not up to your liking but at least you can get a unit if somebody is willing to sell theirs.

You can join the musclecarclub of the Philippines. They can help.
    Kindly google them up.

Yup... difficult... you can find old ones that are unrestored for around 150-250k. Then work from there. The engine will run on unleaded, just buy lead additive from the stores and put in a little every tankful for valve lubrication.

To echo... best to go to the experts. They'll be able to point you at restorers and parts suppliers better than us.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
