First of its kind daw. Either Chrysler is desperate to sell cars or very confident sa mga products nila.

The catch is it's only applicable for the first owner of the vehicle (non-transferable).
And if you forget to do the scheduled inspection due in a few year's time (who remembers these things anyway?), bye bye warranty.

wow lifetime! pero di kaya gatasin ka naman sa dealer maintenance kaya bawi na rin after a 'lifetime'![]()
So that's why...
So if the owner sells his car there's no more warranty. If they forget, no more warranty. It's a warranty that can easily be blown away. I guess this is just a marketing ploy to get customers to buy more cars.
I wonder how it is going to be once DCX is once again separated?
Not quite. Unlike the Philippines the US has a law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which requires the manufacturer/dealer to provide in writing why the warranty is not being honored. The consumer then has the right to have their case heard by an arbitrator or in court so that the manufacturer/dealer has to show that missing a scheduled inspection was the cause of the failure. Besides dealers here don't void warranty because you didn't get it serviced at the casa, as long as you have receipts or records showing you've maintained the vehicle they can't just void the warranty.
The 10 year warranty is not honored here. At least no word from CATS yet.
What I've previously posted is from Jeep owners at 4x4Wire.
Commercial use, SRT models, and diesels are also excluded from the program.Q4: Are there specific provisions to the new warranty?
A4. In order to maintain the Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Warranty, you must have a powertrain inspection performed by an authorized Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer once every 5 years. This inspection, performed at no charge, must be made within 60 days of each 5-year anniversary of the warranty start date of the vehicle. It is your responsibility to perform preventative maintenance on your vehicle. You’re strongly encouraged to follow the instructions contained in the Scheduled Maintenance Service guidelines in your Owner’s Manual.
