This is amazingly priced with 5yrs warranty and 5yr free maintenance.

I wonder what the resale value is after 5years?

    500k?

    byd s1.

both will depreciate badly because theyre not diesels lol. ecosports dct issues will probably push it lower. s1 resale value is not good if it wont sell.

I have yet to check the chinese' feedback on the s1. the company is very confident with their product especially with their 5yr warranty.

I'll choose the ecosport with the new engine and old school torque converter. kahit 10yrs i have a feeling its a rock solid platform.

Chinese cars are suppose to be cheaper than everything(this is practiced in Australia)... 200-300k cheaper dapat locally. kaya di makabenta foton sobrang mahal. kala nila parang toyota sila hahahahha.

about cherry they never showed any innovation. they only assembled cars at a not so low prices... nope nope..

    How's the quality kaya?

I can't help but feel biased against Chinese cars in general. There are a couple of BYD compact sedans near where I work and I've had the opportunity to pass by them when going out for lunch. I've seen them since the time they were brand new up until several months later.

The last time I've seen them, both cars have door handles broken, missing or held on by packaging tape.

Priced just under a million with the same power as a CX-5 and CR-V and is loaded with features. The 5 year free PMS is also hard to overlook.
