You'll be hearing a lot about this car in the coming days as the release date nears (June 20th). Expect a few to be on display in some malls this weekend.

Rumored price is in the ₱1.2M range but it will be less spec'd (almost no ADAS) compared to the other BYD PHEV's in the PH like the Sealion 6 or the Seal 5. The Sealion 5 is aiming to compete with the likes of the Yaris Cross and Hyundai Creta but is bigger and has better performance. The BYD also has a usable EV drive mode (enough for a day in the city).

Personally, I think the base model Atto 3 is a better deal (₱200k discount at some dealerships this month) or the Seal 5 TOTL model (if you're ok with a sedan). The Changan Nevo Q05 PHEV is also a much much better option, but the dealer network is not as vast.

expected to be cheaper than the Sealion 6... pero disappointing kung walang ADAS

I think EV mode has a range of 70+kms. (for our personal use) good for 2 days drive before the car uses gas
