Hello, for the current owners, in your experience, which is the best diesel fuel brand for the Chevrolet Trailblazers? The Big 3? How about Seaoil and Unioil?

3 types of diesel lang ang na-try ko sa TB
Turbo Diesel ng Petron = pinaka maingay
Diesel ng Total at Unioil = almost same lang pero mas refine sila compare sa Petron.
I preferred to use Unioil kasi Euro4 which is recommended for TB. Di ko kasi alam kung anong euro standard ng diesel ng Total.

How about Seaoil's Exceed Euro 5, anyone have tried it or currently using it now? In case, could you please describe your experience with it? Would Chevy Philippines approve this?

Seaoil's diesel is euro 5 standard? I thought they were euro 3.

Yes they are already Euro 5 as stated by Top Gear PH and their own website:

Seaoil now carries Euro 4 gasoline, Euro 5 diesel fuels - Industry News

Yun petron dieselmax ok ba sya gamitin? Yun kasi recommended ng sales agent nung chevy carmona. Huwag daw gagamit ng ibang diesel kasi mamamalya. Kaya lang parang mausok yun dieselmax. We tried Unioil nawala yun usok and mas pino ang takbo.

Do not use the ordinary diesel fuels of the Big 3. They will cause more harm than good to your Duramax Diesel engine or any other Common Rail direct injected diesel engine for that matter.

Sir Numbah, does it mean that the minimum diesel fuel that must be used should be at least Euro 4? Can Euro 4 and Euro 5 be mixed with the Big 3's Euro 2 from time to time? The main reason is that, in case we are in a place that only the Big 3 exists and no Unioil, Seaoil or Total stations.

It is ok to use Euro 2 diesels as long as it is the premium diesel fuel fuel. And it is ok to mix the diesel fuels of the Big 3 with Euro 3-5 diesel fuels if you cannot find any Seaoil or Unioil or Eastern Petroleum fuel stations if you need to fuel up immediately.

Sir Numbah, thank you very much. I really appreciate these information you are giving to us. Now, I will just need to inform my family about this as they will be the main user of our upcoming TB. Btw, we fnally opted for the 4x4 and expected delivery will be on the 2nd week of November.

How about us future owners of TBZ and living in the province, will it affect the performance of the engine? Especially now that the 2014 TBZ have upgraded its engine.
by the way, is the new engine Euro IV compliant already?

If I may add, there are a lot of horror stories on dealerships owned by the Juno Cars Group (Alabang, Laguna, Pasig, and Shaw)
