Due to the poor economy (thanks to the great politicians of our beloved Philippines), many of our kababayans were forced to look for a much greener pasture (and im one of them, ofw's as they say).Been in Australia, Japan and now here bermuda.Hirap talaga pag majority sa nagpapalakad ng bansa ay selfish.

after i graduated, i decided to stay here in tokyo for 6 months, found a part time job, then after 6 months uwi na, stayed for a couple of months, naubos na ang pera, wala pa work na makita, so balik na naman ng japan and decided to stay here for good, hanggat sa maka-ipon na akong pang franchise ng jollibee or mcdonald`s sa pinas .

Bermuda...... Lucky you. I want to go there someday.

Being a navy bray first and a veteran later, traveling's a way of life for me. I've been to many places. And yes, many of those places have Pinoys. It's always good to see fellow Pinoys.

Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Gabon (US space shuttle support), Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, England, The Netherland Antilles (where Aruba is), Philippines, Japan (where I was born), Hawaii, Alaska, Persian Gulf region. There are others. But, the stay was too short to be considered a stay.

Passports? Which one? I have a tourist passport (blue) and a US government passport (brown). My brown one still has 3 more years left on it. I haven't used it in a while though. I thought I was supposed to turn it in when I retired. But, they didn't ask for it. So, here it is still. And yes, the brown one is chock full of visas.

Also, some of those countries were during my childhood (Aus/NZ/Hawaii) while others have had repeat visits (Europe and Japan) throughout my lifetime thus far.

I forgot to add my one year in South Korea as well.

Aw gee. You got it made. Hyuk Hyuk Hyuk

I wonder why my uncle (in RP) always came home once a year, twice occasionally, when I was younger in RP. He always gave me a bunch of bootleg cassettes he bought whenever they passed through the Suez Canal and surrounding region.
