Finally. When I was in Japan I had this huge jar of 1 yen aluminum coins. I would bring it to a deposit machine at my local Japan Post Bank and dump it into a chute along with 5 (which no vending machine takes) and 10 yen, all mixed in. The machine would automatically count and you can then deposit to your account. ATM machines (most) can also dispense up to the last yen in coins.

Can you trust those machines to properly detect each PH coin which have different sizes/designs through the years? It might detect the small P5 coin as P1, etc.

Maybe best to just dump 1 kesos coins and lower, madali naman i-dispose ang 5 kesos up coins.
