Fake peso bill gang busted




THE National Bureau of Investigation collared two suspected members of a syndicate involved in counterfeiting peso bills in Valenzuela City.

Nabbed were Nomer Gonzales and Tony Espeleta, both of 1206 Barrio Bitik, Gen. T. de Leon, Valenzuela City.

Elements of the Anti-Fraud and Computer Crime Division and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seized fake P200 and P100 bills.

Probers gathered that a fake P500 bill sold for P200 while a bogus P100 fetched a price of P30.

The alleged leader of the group identified as Eduardo Pedrajas was arrested in May 2004.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of Article 168 of the Revised Penal Code or illegal possession and use of false treasury of bank notes and other instruments of credit.

Yep, it can easily detect if its fake or not. I think this is old news already. I saw it on TV last month when these makers were raided from their homes.

Anyway, still a nice way to inform those who accidentally skipped the news.

meron din fake bills na nakakalusot sa uv light, meron din mark na lalabas pero pag deposit sa banko hindi tatanggapin dahil fake..

Their fake bills are not really that good, kahit daw ang mga cashiers sa mall nakaka-detect agad kahit by feeling the bill edges lang.

kung meron ka hawak na fake bill then ibibili mo, tapos na-detect na fake pwede ka bang hulihin? paano kung isinukli din lang sayo yun at hindi mo nadetect na fake sya?
