Anyone here in this line of business? Ok kayang business ito. I've noticed maraming mga third-party (not directly under any hospital) patient transport services nowadays (e.g. Ace-Cor, Aeromed, Lifeline Arrows, Lifeguard, etc.) and got me wondering on the viability of the business.

For one, not all hospitals have their own ambulances. Even a hospital as big as UST only has two and with no permanent crew (they 'borrow' the doctor and nurses from different departments during ambulance conductions).

And from the price list at UST, malaki ang bayad per trip. hehehe.

How much are basic ambulances nowadays?
