Isa pero bihira kong gamitin - pag emergency lang like off line ang ATM pero may kailangan bilhin. Years ago, dalawa tas tira ng tira then natututo ako ng proper financial management so I paid all my dues dun sa dalawang card and dropped the other card.
Like XTO, kung hinde ko pa kayang bilhen, ipon muna. However, kung hinde talaga kaya and/or hinde practical bilhin, then I forget about the whole thing. - kung ano man yung gusto kong bilhin.
Dalawa:
1. BPI (at iyong libreng Express Credit + Card for Online Purchases) - local use
2. Shell-Citibank - for my petrol purchases, utility bills payment (CitibankOne) and international purchases.
I pay in full for whatever purchases we make for both cards. Tipong control ang pinapairal namin para hindi bumibili ng wala sa budget o hindi naman kailangan...

nagbabalak palang. parang ok kasi yung mga promo na zero percent interest na installment.
bakit pala yung iba ang daming credit card?
one, but seldom used, it's for emergency purposes only. with extension for the wife and 16+ yrs old kids.
just one so i wont have problem sorting bills
have epcib travel card so they would send me separate bills if i us ethe card on dollar purchases
If you are a person who knows how to control and manage your finances wisely, credit cards are great inventions for you!
If your credit is in good standing, they will even discount your annual fee.
And the annual fee is compensated by the great convenience and perks that credit cards offer.
I have 2 credit cards.
Ang pinaka gusto ko sa credit card, all my monthly utility bills are automatically charged to my credit card, so I don't have to remember anymore DUE DATES from Meralco, CABLE TV, or broadband subscriptions.
Hindi ko na rin kailangan pumunta pa at pumila sa mga bill payment
centers para magbayad ng Meralco at PLDT.
Masarap ang may credit card!
Conclusion is: Credit cards are only designed for disciplined people. Kung wala kang disiplina sa sarili, credit cards will not work for you.
BPI card:
Classic- for local use (mas maliit kz ang interest & i used it often)
PetronBPI- for int'l & local
ALLIEDVISA card
Sir XTO ...maganda den me creditcard for emergency purposes....dagdag ID den sha....especially when ur applying for a visa(when travelling)...the more u have it ...the better...kelangan nga lang control....what wer doin is nd kme nagppa raise mashado ng credit limit![]()
primary - BPI Gold mastercard express credit
secondary - Metrobank visa classic
tertiary - PSbank visa (di ako nag-apply pero pinadala lang bigla  )
edit: all card statements are company paid btw ;)![]()

citibank master = for gas only
citibank visa = for anything i need to purchase for the office, or emergencies which has yet to happen, or twice/thrice used it on a personal item to avoid lugging around cash, which of course I pay for in full.
i have quite a number of them. masyado lang talagang tempting to use. kahit ako pinipigilan ko sarili ko gamitin un kc mahirap magbayad, ang taas pa ng interest rate. for emergency purposes, enough na ung 2 credit cards. ung ibang cards ko kusa na lang dumadating sa akin then after a year pinapa-cancel ko na. i also limit my purchases up to P5K only per card. parusa din ang annual fee. marami kasi uses ang credit card -- pang-travel, gasoline stations, malls, restaurants, hospitals, etc.
the concern about annual fees is valid.
tip: keep your credit in good standing. and when the renewal date nears, make sure your balance is zero.
then, a week or several days before the card's expiration, give your credit card company a call and tell them that you will be cancelling the card and will not be paying the annual fee anymore.
am sure they will renew the card sans the annual fee.
works for me everytime. with the stiff competition among credit card issuers, they could not afford to lose a good, obedient, paying client. they will earn more from you in the long run.
again this tip works only if you have no pending balance prior to the renewal date.
or maybe this will not work for all or with any credit card issuer...

6 CCs:
5 sa BPI (card for internet purchases, BPI-Northwest, Express Credit, Edge Mastercard, Edge Mini)
Then bayad agad sa bank.![]()
1 citibank visa - for emergency use din lang... tsaka earning some points para ma avail later pag mataas na![]()
Citibank Gold Visa - I love this card... lots of discounts from stores (20% off on Italliani's, Outback, Fish & Co.) and you have a free coincerge & messengerial service! I love the online access so that I can check out my purchases the next day to verify.
myDream JCB - I got this for convenience since I can pay it via internet banking.
Prudentialife - Equitable Visa - I had this card for over 5 years now (my first one) because am a planholder of Prudentialife.
I also have some other mailed to me (pre-approved). Hehe. But I am not planning to use them.
