If you can work hard and actually SELL THE PRODUCT AND SERVICES, then yes, but if the company rewards you for recruitments more than anything, then it's not a moral or good way to make money (unless ikaw ang nasa taas and maraming nahakot mga nasailalim mo)...

It's basically conning others to make you rich if your income is generated through your downline's recruitment efforts.

The way I see it is this...

If you use the company to get big discounts para mabenta mo yung product at a higher price (whether you export it or whatever), that's legit, but if you're joining and pursue other people to join, with the intention of getting a "downline", then you'll be another scammer.... (not you, personally ha hehe, you know what I mean).

Check mo yung details ng mga MLM kung ano talaga purpose nila and how they are providing jobs (not to the members, but kung kanino sila kumukuha ng stuff etc.)

Malalaman mo naman if get-rich-quick ang purpose nila or not based on their "seminars" although I must admit that almost all of them lure you into joining based on earning through recruitment.

first and foremost check with SEC and DTI if they are legit or not.

kung gusto mo talagang mag-MLM, dapat makapal ang mukha mo, nde biro ito. and yes dapat kikita ka sa selling at nde sa recruiting.

well, personally, I don't know, but what I do know is 1st Quad pretty much is keeping the Marikina shoe industry afloat since all their bags/shoes (which the members/founder) comes from Marikina also exports them abroad... But as for whether the company's focus of getting new members exceeds the desire to help the local shoe industry, that, I don't know.

May mga malalaking companies din that have been in business for quite a while such as NuSkin but I honestly don't know how they survive here sa pinas since their product are ridiculously expensive.

There are direct selling companies din like Avon, Natasha etc that is focused more on products than recruitment...

Depende din yan sa purpose mo sa pagsali... I'm sure people with the right mindset and planning can get rich with them since guaranteed source of supply (products) at low cost and you can sell it at almost any price you want. If you're good at marketing and retailing, I can't see why this won't work...

As with any job/business, tyagaan lang yan and nasa hilig lang yan.

Oh, wouldn't hurt asking DTI regarding the statuses of these companies.

*Habol* Wag lang magyabang with wangwang, reckless driving, kayabangan pag yumaman hehe *

if the multi level mktg program says that you will earn more if you recruit more (i.e. downline) instead of selling more products of the company, then you're simply enriching yourself by hooking others into the program and make them pay for what you will earn, which will eventually reach a saturation point.

the bottom line is, if your earning more from the company products you sell, then its a legit mulit level program. but if you will earn more from the number of people you recruit as your downline, then i believe its just another pyramiding marketing scam, because somewhere down the line there will be a saturation point. pity on those who will be at the bottom line...

Basta ba may product movement at yung product eh totoong nag woworkork or may quality, legit yan at least nde ka nanloloko ng tao in terms of products. imo ...
dun sa minention mo na company...hmmm try reading other forums about it madaming ganyang topic sa gov.ph. para you'll have more understanding and idea kung ano klaseng mlm/binary/networking co sila.

Mga MLM na alam ko Goldquest, NuSkin, First Quadrant. Goldquest - more on recruitment, for 15K (if I remember correctly) you get a "gold coin", Nu Skin - also more on recruitment start up is around 9K more or less. for that you get a bag of skin care products which you can use or sell, First quadrant ganon din, dito naman I think you get a discount card, start up is around 8 or 9K. correct me if am wrong here.

Like what they say if you earn more by selling the products then you can look into it, but if it focuses more on the "downline" or how many people you recruit, well you'd have to think twice.

a friend of mine tried out that nuskin thing. ewan ko lang kung mali ung intindi ko(fellow tsikoteers/nuskin agents kindly verify) pero apparently, when you become a member, *required* kang bumili ng certain amount of products every month(in my friend's case, 50k) to maintain your "membership". it's up to you kung paano mo na mamumove ung product. like what most of the earlier posters have said, it depends on your sales and marketing tack na. now, if you *can't* sell those products...lagot.

and yes, my friend did mention something about going up the nuskin sales ladder depending on how many agents you have under you, or recruited by you. and no, my friend is no longer a nuskin agent.

    QUOTE:
In 1986, Herbalife International, Inc., and its president Mark Hughes, agreed to pay $850,000 to settle charges by the California Attorney General that the company made false medical claims and engaged in an illegal pyramid-style marketing scheme. Herbalife has been selling its products through a multilevel marketing program in which the amount of money received by its distributors depended upon the amounts purchased by them and by those whom they recruit as distributors. The Attorney General's suit, filed in 1985, cited the following questionable claims made for Herbalife products:

    * Slim and Trim Formulas comprise an effective weight loss program which can produce a typical weight loss of 10-29 excess pounds a month.
    * Cell-U-Loss can attack "cellulite," eliminate inches, suppress appetite, improve circulation, and help many other conditions.
    * Herbal-Aloe can aid digestion, "heal" and "cleanse the system."
    * N.R.G. can increase energy, increase mental alertness, and provide a "nutritional lift." (The fact that caffeine is one of its active ingredients was not disclosed.)
    * Lifeline aids the cardiovascular system.
    * Schizandra Plus can combat damage that leads to premature aging.
    * Tang Kuei is effective against hot flashes and can help the regularity of the menstrual system and relieve menstrual disorders.
    * Flora-Fiber "scrubs and cleanses" the intestine with fiber and prevents disease.
    * K-8 stops "induced depression" and "elevates your mood so you can handle stress."
"Canadian Herbalife Marketers Fined $150,000 for Operating Illegal Pyramid Scheme"

Im quite surprised why Herbalife hasnt been shut down through the years of penalties. I guess they are a bi-partisan supporter

i dunno din sir karding, and its expanding hehe 61 countries by next month, including china and singaore.

great products though... btw, un top exec ng company lahat galing walt disney now..

plus nasa NYSE siya so baka naman nagbago na yan kasi pumasa na sa NYSE eh.. has been around for 25 years.

btw, some people like yung canadian herbalife marketers, baka isang group sila nagpalakad ng ibang patakaran, not sure though.. sa philippines naman we are recognize by dti and dsap together with avon, tupperware etc. as legitimate

plus we dont earn through recruiting nga... what i mean by pwede magstop ang recruiting and the company still earns, kasi po madami dito na distributor ng products pero they are not building their org naman.

we expand through people instead of more shops or stores.
