i have a relative who went into egg production last year. Natuwa naman kami 'coz they were able to sell a few batches already, and were set to expand this year. Kaso lang, they seem to have a lot of inventory -- i.e. unsold eggs -- right now. They've already tried selling it to the farther-off towns, but generally mahina daw ang bentahan.

Any ideas on what to do with the eggs? Right now they're talking to some bakeries who might be interested. i know in the US that some companies do process eggs into "liquid" or powdered egg, am just wondering if we have a similar facility here.

We've suggested turning them into salted eggs, but there's just too much :p

feed the egss back to the chickens. need mo lang nga lutuin muna. no need to remove from shell, just crush the eggs after boiling. sayang kasi kung mababagok lang at least they save on chicken feed.

Or lessen production? Demand is not proportion to supply

Vertical integration - you will definitely have better margin, since you now own a portion of your "supply chain"....

May be not your core competency though... ...

a good steady flow of market is the key and it looks like kulang pa. try to engage with those big names in supermarkets and bakeries, eggs is one of those on top of the food staples. you have to establish good connections lang.
salted eggs are made of ducks egg btw.

yes, but most people preferred that distinct oily yolk what duck's eggs have. kahit ako ayoko ng chicken egg as salted

yes, the difference between duck and chicken eggs is yung yolk.... mas grainy ang yolk ng itlog na pula na galing sa manok, compared sa medyo buo and moisty pag sa duck.
