botika/small drugstore startup

hi,

im seriously considering a botika in our province,barangay. anyone pls advise the steps in starting a botika. required ba talaga licensed pharmacist kahit botika lang na 80% ng medicines ay OTC? my in law is a nurse awaiting her papers for abroad, kaya as a medical professional sya ang mag mamanage.

i define botika as one selling common OTC medicines as well as serious but still common medicines treating high blood pressure, blood sugar. maybe also a set of antibiotics.

i am inspired by ads in the first section of PDI posting the prices of generic medicines, like paracetamol, amoxicillin, high blood pressure and sugar treaments. napaka baba ng mga prices ng generics. and since its a pricelist inclusive narin yun ng markup.

i have heard of generics pharmacy and botika ng bayan but cant afford the franchise.

so my idea is to emulate them on a smaller scale. budget is less than 100,000.

so far my first step is to write this post and await your replies.
