"sister thread" nung tanong sa "nalugi sa negosyo...."

how can we prevent lugi if we are into negosyo?

as pointed out, these were observed:

    1) Partnership with friends na hindi clear ang work demarkation and cash flow auditing amongst partners.
    2) Pautang - na uncollected.
    3) Hindi nabigyan ng tamang attention - like pagbantay, "passion", etc
    4) Lack of knowledge sa intricacies nung sinet-up na negosyo.
    5) Segregate kita from sales (kita is net income, sales is gross income - ihiwalay ang puhunan bago galawin ang pera).

    my additional info.

    6) Price tag o selling price is always market potential driven...low margin applies to big volume biz, high margin naman kung ang expected volume ng biz ay maliit.
6a) Higher value products does not necessarily mean higher income products.
    7) Kung magpapautang ka: make sure the creditor have a good paying habit, you have the ability para mangulit sa pangongolekta ng unpaid debt, and give credit limit sa nangungutang.
7a) Credit limit - usually 2x the monthly paying average...applicable sa regularly buying and paying customers.
    8) Pautang price should be higher than cash basis price...by at least the cost of money...3% per month is good enough.... so a 60day term will have 6% higher price.
    9) Put money worth on your work...as in dapat iconsider mo na pasueldohan mo ang sarili mo dun sa negosyo and NEVER consider the net income is your sweldo (or worst, never consider the gross sales is your sweldo).
    10) Always put a maximum limit of investment - na willing kang ikalugi if things don't turn up well.
    11) Investigate the market bago ituloy yung biz.

anything else you might want to add?

i'm sure makatulong to sa iba..."it is good to learn from your mistake, but it is wise to learn from the mistakes of others".... so lets prevent making our own mistake and start learning from others....

this is true. maraming mga business people na kumita lang ng simula e natuto na biglang mag sugal at mag bisyo. ayun bagsak negosyo.

    14. all fix expenses musta already be noted. example. taxes. monthly vat. electricity. water, etc. para naka allot na agad.

    15. set a goal for the business. para hindi maging relax sa present business flow.

    16. cost cutting. this is very important. as this would generate income if done right. as the business grows or matures. the owner or manager would be able to pin point which flow of the business can be shortened or maximized.

Number one most important thing that is often overloooked. HAVE A BUSINESS PLAN. It gives you goals, and focuses your attention on things you need to do and plan for. It is the product of a lot of forethought, so it will really help in making sure your business has a profit oriented direction.

kailangan talaga malugi ka to become a good businessman. if you're afraid of mistakes, you'll never move up the ladder or you'll never take bigger risks.

a lot of people stop trying after a failed small business venture and resort back to employment kasi sure bucks. but you'll always wonder

just like what happened to Abraham Lincoln, sa sobrang dami ng tinanggap niya na pagkatalo sa election, he became one of the best presidents of America

    Eto po share ko lang,

B4 entering into any biz, ang una mo kagad iisipin... competition, competition, at competition pa rin. Ito naman most probly ang magpapabagsak sa kahit ano biz. Ang aabangan mo un kakalaban sau na mas malaki puhunan. Un tipong maging David and Goliath ang laban nyo. Dapat me plan ka na kagad just in case dumating yan.

When biz is good, don't just relax. Expand, expand, expand. Para lalong lumiit ang chance na me makalaban kang Goliath at it will turn out na ikaw un Goliath.

When is not so good... shift, shift, shift. Particularly true sa mga biz na uso naun. Mga carts, o un mga maliliit na pinafranchise dyan. Un malakas lang sa una. Kung ganito trip mo, have like 3 of them. Pag nakita mong pahina na isa, un shift na.

Lastly, dont loose hope, coz entrepreneurship is our country's only hope. Un.

    Ciao

    Eto lang natutunan ko...

Never Do Business with FRIENDS or EVEN RELATIVES.

If you do business with your parents, be prepared to do it for service and love for them and be prepared to be underpaid.

    Yun lang...
