Try mong mag-apply sa mga IT Solution Provider or Software/Hardware Vendor. Marami naman dyan like Phil-data, ShellSoft, MSI-ECS, etc.

Believe in yourself. Dyan ka magsisimula.

Hehe salamat..humble lang cguro ako kaya ako nag "lang" sa sarili ko but i dont see myself as less capable than the others.ayoko rin talaga mag abroad kahit hilahin pa ng apat na eroplano..ung sa mga call center kasi karamihan "tech support" e..ang trabaho, take parin ng calls tapos troubleshoot nung problem ng caller..

Tama bossing! IMO, di talaga solution ang pag-abroad. Well, kasi I don't want to leave my family behind. Ika nga, last resort ko na yun if ever. Oh, wala pala akong IT experience. Abang ka lang sir, once in a while may magpo-post din dito ng job listing.

Try this: mag-member ka sa philwapp*yahoogroups.com. Madaming job postings dun related on IT.

BTW, mas maganda bossing if you can avoid using "txt speak" para mas madaling mabasa. Mejo nahilo ako sa post mo eh!

    Good luck ule sir!

teka nalito ko konti. so CoE pala natapos mo? fresh grad? Kung oo, ok lang wala experience, madami dyan company naghahanap ng fresh grads to train, importante e may background ka ng konti sa programming (back in college).

Ako nga EE pero nagka shift sa IT e, nung time namin 2 lang ang comp. subjects ng EE

Pag nakakita ka ng company na may training na ino offer, tyagain mo na yun for the sake na magkaron ng programming knowledge... ano hot ngayon na language, well... java, C#. syempre classic at safe bet lagi yung c/c++. Ngayon pag may experience ka na.. thats the time na maghahanap ka na ng.... big bucks!

    good luck bro!

ako nasa IT pero more on the sales/project management/marketing/support....actually depende sa araw I have to wear many hats

we're a system integrator specializing in server based computing, backup/storage solutions and DR consulting- my posting this is to give you some insight on where some of your skills may lie

here's the kicker- I don't have an IT background

but my teammates do and they started just like you
one thing I saw in all of them is they love to learn and problem solve- sabi nga ng mga puti madalas samin is RTFM (google mo na lang) kasi sobra magaling sa kapaan ang noypi

as a solutions provider we depend on our tech teammates to help me position a proof of concept or provide options- not "box push", do R&D etc.

my role in the whole thing is to lay the ground work so "the propeller heads" as we affectionally call them do their magic and share/teach support & admin people to stop fire fighting since it seems that's what takes up most of ther time instead of being free to contribute to core goals of their companies

when presentations focusing on cost benefit matrices, networking with other providers here and in the region- basically being an orchestrator for logistics- facing up to decision makers in neogtiations or just plain old driving for my buddies is called for- I do it.

now alam natin sa IT alang tigil na pag aaral yan since some new gizmo/software comes up when you were still just beginning to get the hang of the one just handed to you...in this case google is your best friend as well as the numerous tech boards/forums

medyo lumilihis nako pero if you have a foundation built on wanting to learn no matter what it takes and being able to get out of your comfort zones to immerse yourself in project management, self led teamsmanship etc. then you won't have a hard time to join solutions provider

I'm in the IT field for 8 years now and I started without any CCNA certifications because I'm still in college when MosCom Internet hired me as their Web Developer and Technical Staff. Now I'm working in the US Telecoms handling the 3rd highest position in our company.

I don't see anything wrong with call centers, I think call centers might help you to broad up your contact of employers, friends, and others that might help you to get your dream job. You have 4 certifications better to use them wisely or else those 4 will be back from zero.

Try to send me a private message and share to me your resume, maybe I can help you out or hire you to our company. We are doing VOIP so I'm expecting more to your certifications. Take care and good luck.

    pero may masaklap na nangyari.

nung na assign ako as in house support sa client namin na may project kami sa batangas.bale may staff house kami.habang natulog ako one night sinungkit yong bag ng laptop..natangay yong ibm r51 na laptop, yong wallet ko at mga atms at iba pa..problem is hindi sa akin yong laptop.kaya kinakabahan ako sa evaluation kasi nakawala ako e mahal ata yon laptop..ayoko sanang ma sesante waaaaaaah..pero bahala na sila i wouldnt have exchanged my life for their laptop.malay nyu kung may nakatutuk sakin baril habang sinusungkit.e naka brief pako nun natulog pag gising ko wala na yong laptop..

Up for this thread...hehehe CCNA din ako ngayon at naghahanap ng work. Baka naman may alam kayo na job opening kahit di muna sa network basta sa IT kasi hirap maghanap ng work ng wala pa experience.

Sino nasa IT field?
